House fire is the latest of hard knocks
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Tracy. My very best friend since middle school has had quite a run of bad luck lately. The latest was a fire that destroyed practically everything she & her family had. There is no insurance to rebuild or replace belongings. Thankfully they made it out safely!!
Words cannot express what wonderful people the Lavoie family has been. When I needed a place to stay, Steph's mom just opened the door. She didn't ask any questions, just let me know I had a safe place as long as I needed. Steph's father was a lifelong member of the Coventry Volunteer Fire Department. He saved many people, and their homes as well. Both had hearts of gold.
Stephenie lost both her parents but stayed strong. She has been married to the same man forever, (or so it seems).Steph served as an EMT for the Coventry Volunteer Fire Department for many years. She has raised her family and is helping to raise her grandchildren. She works as a school bus driver, with the safety of the kids on the bus her #1 priority. Her husband, as well as Steph, both have several medical issues. Yet she carries on no matter how much pain she is in, how little she has slept. She is consistently putting other people's needs before her own.
Any funds raised will be used to rebuild their home and lives. If you can find it in your heart to donate, it will be most appreciated. If you can not afford to donate, please share!! The goal set will not cover everything, but will hopefully provide them with basic needs as they try to heal from this latest setback...
