House Fire: Immediate Needs for Metzner Family

This fundraiser is for the immediate needs of the Metzner family. Their home and it’s contents were lost after being engulfed in a three alarm fire. They and their duplex neighbors got out safely (including Ollie), but the remaining structure and it’s contents are expected to be a total loss due to the extensive fire, smoke, and water damage.

 

As grateful neighbors of David and Melanie’s generosity, we are merely a couple of many. They are neighbors you wish you had. When COVID made it so we couldn’t take our kids to see Santa, David put on that big red suit and swung the bell proud. They cook meals for neighbors with new babies. They care for their neighbors pets. They participate in Del Ray’s Halloween parade. They have the iconic Del Ray trio of stroller/kid/dog. They’ve hosted showers, going always and celebrated with and for our community. 

 

Whether or not you are in the Del Ray community, please assist this family who show love to their neighbors every single day.

 

This holiday season, we are grateful for the safety of the Metzner family.
