Saturday night, Norma Dobbins experienced a devastating house fire that took away her home of over 30 years. This tragedy comes just weeks after the loss of her beloved husband, Terry Dobbins, who passed away on May 10th following a battle with cancer. Norma is known by her family and friends as one of the kindest and most generous people, always opening her doors to help those in need. Together, Norma and Terry created a home where friends and family were cherished, and their weekly gatherings brought comfort and hope to many.
The funds raised through this campaign will help Norma with urgent needs, including temporary housing, clothing, food, and other necessities as she begins to rebuild her life. Norma’s resilience and compassion have touched countless lives, and now, in her time of need, we have the opportunity to give back and support her.
Whether sharing a meal, offering guidance, praying with those in need, or simply enjoying the company of their children and grandchildren, Norma and Terry brought wisdom, stability, and hope to all who entered their South Glens Falls home. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help Norma as she faces these unimaginable challenges. Your support will make a real difference in her journey toward healing and recovery.
Both Norma and Terry have spent over a decade being active members and serving their communities both of New Hope Community Church in Queensbury, NY and Pine Knolls Alliance Church in South Glens Falls. Norma and Terry's family would like to encourage their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to kindly donate to this important cause.
