On Saturday September 4th, our home was burned down by a fire that spread across 2 houses next-door. My little brother, sister and dog were able to escape safe and sound because of a neighbor coming to ring the doorbell, in order to alert them of the fire luckily my mom was not home . We've lived in this house for 11 years so even though the three most irreplaceable things in our house at the time (my brother, sister and dog) are safe . we've lost a lifetime worth of memories and belongings. This has been an extremely traumatic event for my mother as the home owner and for my siblings and I as we are just starting new academic journeys with me being a college senior, my sister a college freshman and my little brother being a high school Junior. This event has left an indelible mark on all of us, but we remain grateful for each other and hopeful for the future . The cause of the fire is still unknown but as we look toward the future with the hope rebuild our lives my family is extremely grateful for any support that you can offer, no amount, item or gesture is too small.
