House Fire Fund for Dwayne & Lia Davila

Unfortunately, on Christmas, Dwayne and Lia experienced heavy water damage to their home due to a fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt and all are safe. Lia and Dwayne are the parents of 6 children. They are also the founders and owners of Hamden Academy of Dance and Music. Together, they have become important members of the New Haven and Hamden community as they have poured into children of all ages, nurturing their gifts and talents to help them achieve their creative dreams. Just as they have given so much to our community, I want to invite you to join me in extending a hand and your hearts to help them and their family on this path of restoration. They will need funds to pay for temporary shelter, replace basic needs like clothing, feed their family and ultimately find another place to stay. Dwayne and Lia have always been resourceful and independent when it comes to providing for themselves and their children. They reluctantly allowed me to set up this fund. I wanted to do so because I am confident that the many lives they have touched would want an opportunity to give back in their time of need. Anything you can give is truly and sincerely appreciated.
