My sister and her family's apartment caught fire this morning.  They lost most of their belongings including pictures, important momentos, and irreplaceable  items of my stepfather's who passed away last year.  What didn't burn, was badly smoke or water damaged. Unfortunately, their kitty also perished in the fire. They are a family of eight with six children ranging in ages from 3 to 11.  Luckily, five of the children were at school and my sister and her 3 year old were able to escape with only minor smoke inhalation. Their apartment was above the restaurant where both Anne and Jeremiah work. The restaurant is badly water damaged. So they have lost not only their home and possessions but are also out of work until the restaurant can be restored.  We are pretty sure the Red Cross will be helping with a hotel for them to stay in but they also do not have a reliable running vehicle right now so that will be even more of a challenge.  Any help would be greatly appreciated and such a blessing to this family who's world just fell apart ❤
