On the early  morning of Friday November 13th, Momma Mercy went for a morning walk. On her walk back Momma Mercy saw smoke and fire coming from her home. She ran into the home to warn not only her family but also the other two families that were inside. She was able to get every single person out of the house. Three families in total. The other two families are currently with relatives or friends. However, Momma Mercy, her husband and 5 children have no where to go. They do not have anywhere to stay. The Red Cross met with the family and unfortunately are unable to house them. We are working tirelessly to find them some housing. They all ran out of the house with only the clothes on their backs. Some children were barefooted and other members had flip flops on.  They lost EVERYTHING. We need the community to please come to the aid of this family so that they can be housed and get all the things that they need. All the money raised will go directly to the family.
