Hello, my name is Sarah, and Amy & Stephen Wauters were my neighbors. They are close friends of mine and are absolutely wonderful people with two young children ages 2 and 4, and a father who lives with them currently as he is recovering from knee surgery. The Wauters lost everything in this fire, all personal belongings, memorabilia, and, tragically, their beloved dogs and cats.

The fire started in their kitchen, and even though the exterior of the house doesn't appear to have much damage, the entire interior has been destroyed by heat and thick smoke that is now covering everything.

Funds will be used to recover the cost of cremating their pets, clothing, toys, food, housewares, and any new furniture or necessities that home insurance does not cover.

Thank you for your consideration in donating, any sized donation is appreciated.
