House Fire Devestates Local Family

As a Pinellas County Schools teacher in Florida for the last 20 years, I often hear of tragedy that has struck one of our families. Sadly, this time, it hit very close to home...one of my very own four-year-old students and her family.

On Tuesday evening, September 27, 2022, the Brown's home caught on fire and quickly spread throughout. Luckily, the family could get out safely, but they lost absolutely everything in their home in the process.

We hope to help the family get back on their feet and help the children return to the security of a home. The parents are making every effort to have the children back at school on Monday, knowing that returning to your daily routine often helps one find comfort.

They need your help! The Brown Family has one 17-year-old son and 3 children six years old and under...a 2-year-old little boy and two little girls, ages 4 and 6.
