House Fire Destroys Family Home & Belongings
Donation protected

Thank you all so much for your donations and messages. The family is truly appreciative of everyone coming together to help them. We have received over 200 messages of families in the community offering to donate clothing. (You guys are absolutely amazing!) They are currently good on clothing donations until they can analyze current donations. They are waiting to see if anything is salvageable. The kitchen, Living room and bathrooms were destroyed with the rest of the house receiving water damage.
If anyone is still interested in helping or making donations, meals for the family would be most helpful. The family farm road-stand on route 663/ John Fries Highway is open and food/items can be dropped off there from 9am-7pm.
Thank you again. <3
Original post:
At around 8pm on Wednesday, May 6th a fire broke out in my niece's family home and a portion of the farm. Many people in the community recognize the family as the Moods who own and operate Windy Springs Farm.
The family lost their home, clothing, food, and irreplaceable items such as photos, sentimental family heirlooms and more.
I recognize it is a hard time for everyone during this pandemic but showing some love to their family during this time would be extremely helpful to assist them on getting back on their feet and acquiring essential items such as clothing , cooking utensils, sheets, blankets, etc.
We appreciate all support and love. Please feel free to share.
Thank you!
