House Fire - Charlie Snider

On Friday, Jan 20, Charlie Snider, my 83-year-old father loved by so many, suffered a house fire that burned most of the structure. It started outside the house at a brush pile that dad had burned and he had gone inside to take a break. When he saw smoke he went outside and saw that his two wooden utility buildings were on fire and there was nothing he could do. The fire spread to the house quickly as he called the fire department. Throughout the day and the next, the fire department came three separate times to control parts of the house that continued to burn. We're so glad that Charlie is ok, but he has lost almost everything except for a few clothes. We're waiting on the insurance to assess the damage, but in the mean time, this will be a tremendous burden on him financially.
