On June 16th, 2023, the home of Marissa and Shalise Collins’ was struck by lightning during a storm in Waco, TX. Once the lightning hit, their Waco home immediately went up in a blaze; Shalise, their two children, and their 3 dogs thankfully managed to escape the home in time. Unfortunately, the blaze lasted for one hour and a half, during which their home and everything in it would be damaged by both the Fire AND the amount of water used in efforts to stop the fire, leaving very little to be salvaged. Although they are so greatful to have made it out safely, you can imagine the devastation of losing your home and almost everything in it.

As their friends and family, we are working to raise money to help them in their time of need. We hope to help, Marissa, Shalise and their two kids and 3 dogs, afford temporary housing, rebuild walls, ceiling and flooring, replacement furniture, kitchen cabinets, appliances, and much more that will not be covered by insurance.
