Don protégé
Hi. My name is Kelsey Jarc. My husband, Jason and I had a house fire at 8pm on 5/15/2023. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats.
- Drogo (dog): smoke inhalation and eye damage. Drogo is my diabetic alert service dog. He is out of the hospital now.
- Stella (dog): smoke inhalation and burnt paws. She is out of the hospital now.
- Gir (grey cat): burnt face, lung damage, no whiskers. She was put to sleep in the hospital.
- Doug Dimmadome (Siamese striped cat): smoke inhalation. He is still in the ER.
- Zoe (calico cat): She is now caught. We have her.
- Olive “the menace” (black cat): no health issues. We have her with us.
We are in need of funds for medical bills for ourselves and the animals, clothes, toiletries, and looking for a more permanent housing situation. We lost everything in the fire. I’m also a type 1 diabetic and lost a lot of my medical supplies.
The cause of the fire is unknown and still under investigation. It started n the sunroom in the back of the house.
