"To know the Camron and Lonna Connolly family (Alli-14, Nike-12, Cruze-10, Maylee-7, Britlee-5) is to love them, and to be part of their family. They are the type of family to always help others in any way they can, lift others with their loving and carefree attitudes, and comfort those that are in need of comfort. But after a tragic fire ripped through their garage and attic on March 12th, THEY are the ones in need of help, lifting, and comfort. Thankfully, the family, and dogs made it out of the house safely, but they have lost so much! Nike lost his entire closet and the girls also lost much of their clothing from their closet as well (their rooms shared a wall with the garage). Many of their shoes, bikes, scooters, toys, all holiday decorations, athletic equipment, Camron’s tools, and truck (which he’d just gotten back from when it was stolen in December) were lost in the fire. The fire began to spread into the attic, destroying their childhood memorabilia, and keepsakes. The firefighters fought to contain the fire to the garage, but had escaped into the attic, as they sprayed in the attic, the ceilings, heavy with water, gave way in several of the rooms and now their entire house has water and smoke damage causing them to lose many of their possessions inside the home. Their home will be gutted and restored and they have to find alternate housing for about 6 months.
Many people have asked if they could donate items, but they currently do not have a place to store anything, or an address to have things sent to. They are staying with family until they can find a rental home.
Lonna and Camron have blessed so many throughout their lives, and now we have a chance to give back. Even if you can't give, please share! Thank you all in advance."
