Hi there, my name is Stephen and I am fundraising to help my mate who's house boat exploded due to gas leak in Port Macquarie on Wednesday 30 June 2021.

Ian and his 16 year old son Jordon were on the boat when it exploded around 8pm. Ian was severely injured and air lifted to Royal North Shore hospital with 3rd and 2nd degree burns to his body. His son suffered minor injuries, and they are both very lucky to be alive.

Ian does not have insurance on his house boat, which he part-time lives on, and it will cost over $80,000 to rebuild/restore.

Ian is a retired paramedic who spent over 30 years helping other people and it would be nice to give something back for all his service and dedication.

All donations will be passed onto Ian to help with medical bills and rebuild his home.
