Hello,

We are 2 sisters, Rana and Deema, who are still suffering from the ongoing war in Gaza for so many months.

We used to have our own houses and life in Gaza, but we have completely lost everything, our beautiful houses, livelihoods and everything we had. Our houses for which we spent our lives gathering money to build them and make them our home. Unfortunately, when war hit Gaza, our houses have completely been destroyed with all our little memories, laughter, belongings, everything!

We had jobs back in Gaza, and used our income for making a living for our little families for many years. We have decorated every corner of our houses with stuff that we liked.

When this war started, we had to escape many times all over the Gaza strip to find shelters from north to south, then to the middle, then again to the south, and lastly to Rafah. With every small step we were subjecting the lives of our children to danger.

In the end, we had to flee Gaza to save our lives and the lives of our 5 kids, the eldest of them is 9 years old. For that, we had to pay lots of money to be able cross the borders with Egypt, all our savings actually and we had to lend money as well. We could not take anything with us when we fled, except for very few belongings for our kids, which means that we have to start building our life from scratch, especially arranging schools and medical services for our kids. Also, kids need psychological treatment to overcome the awful experience they went through in the past few months.

Any little help is appreciated. Via this page, we hope to be able to make life easier for our kids and to be able to rebuild our houses in Gaza where our kids can grow up in peace and happiness.
