Hi, My name is Jon (Jonathan), I served 18 years in the British Army and have spent the last almost 3 years on and off fighting in Ukraine trying to utilise my skillset as a British Combat Infantryman to assist the Ukranian Military in the struggle to remove the Russian aggressors from their country.

Two months ago I was injured with gunshot and blast wounds there which had me return to the UK to recover and convalesce unexpectedly which left me homeless. I was able to temporarily source a room rental which comes to an end in the new year, I have found a property to move into but cannot work with my injuries currently and have absolutely nothing, the Royal British Legion red tape for assistance leaves veterans like myself in dire need as it takes sometimes months for assistance.

I am embarrassingly reaching out for help to raise the deposit to get into this long term property and essentials when, if/when I do, to help rebuild my life, be nearer my children and recover in my own space.
