Help us reward diligence in Limud HaTorah in memory of Gedalya.
Gedalya was a friend. A chavrusa. A roommate. An only son. From his humble home in Ukraine all the way to S'micha in Morristown, NJ his commitment to Torah learning only ever strenghtened.
It's been almost a year since his tragic passing. Therefore, in honor of his upcoming Yahrtzeit, we have started an initiative in the Yeshiva of Morristown's divison of Tiferes Bachurim to strengethen Limud HaTorah. The idea is Hasmada-consistency.
Every Bochur is given a card to record an hour of learning per Seder that is dedicated to learning, and nothing else. No coffee, no phones, no breaks or shmoozing. Just learning b'hasmada. Hours for Gedalya.
As an incentive, two dollars are earned per hour of learning B'Hasmada. This means that each Bochur can earn up to six dollars a day, for six days of every week for a total of four weeks, ending on Gedalya's Yahrtzeit. This means, at best, every Bochur can potentially earn up to $144, which will be used by the Bochurim for purchasing Seforim, Judaic items for Mivtzoim,etc....
For those that would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please make out your checks to Tiferes Student Fund, and mail them to : Levi Yitzchok Goldgrab 226 Sussex Avenue Morristown, NJ 07960.
Please view the WishList on the bottom of the page to support a specific amount of hours, or consider making your own personal donation of any amount.
Thank your for your generosity.
