Houn Pich a beloved father and grandfather

Hi, my name is Cyndi the eldest daughter to Houn Pich. It saddens our family March 30th, 2023 of the passing of my father from a heart attack he had succumb to at 12:00pm afternoon. I am very fortunate to have a great father figure in this lifetime. He was a hard working man. As his peace and passion he love fishing and would travel the distance to catch the biggest fish you would’ve ever seen. My dad had a hardship from the very beginning of his adolescence, from the war he survived in a water well for 7 days only drinking the water he was surrounded by while the Khmer Rouge were above him. He grew up living amongst the monks for education and shelter while my grandfather was away for work. My father didn’t speak too much about this journey in life, he was a man with few words but I knew he had so much strength to carry on with his life. He left behind his eldest daughter Cyndi Hun Proeung, youngest son Gary Hun Proeung and his beloved granddaughter Charlize Audrey Pich. I love you Daddy deeply. Your legacy will forever be in my heart. ❤️
