Hi there, our names are Anna and Clint Houghton for those of you who may or may not know us. In March of this year, on Clint’s birthday we found out we were expecting our very first child, we were so happy! A few weeks later, we come to find out we are not only blessed with 1 baby but 2 babies. Our pregnancy has been very sweet and smooth, we found out we are expecting a baby girl and a baby boy due in November. Unfortunately, our very smooth pregnancy took an expected turn this week. Our babies are fine for the moment, but Anna’s cervix has shortened and thinned severely where she is at high risk for preterm labor. Our babies are only 23 Weeks and 5 days. Anna is now on strict hospital bedrest and will have to remain here until she gives birth, which will come sooner than planned most likely. We never saw this coming, and this has imposed a severe financial strain on us. Now, we will have more medical bills for Anna and the babies. As of right now, Anna is not allowed to work and we still do not have everything we need as first time parents, to bring our babies home when the time comes. With Anna being out of work for the foreseeable future, we are down from a 2 income household to 1 and need help with medical and monthly bills. We never thought we would have to ask for help, but now we are in a situation where we need it. Our family and friends have blessed us so much and we are very lucky.
