Hough to Hayfield for Hol ♥️
Donation protected
Our lovely Holly needs our help! Holly has been diagnosed with a rare form of thyroid cancer which has now unfortunately spread, classing the cancer as stage 4. Holly has been receiving treatment in the USA as the specific type she needs is not available on the NHS. As you can image this is not cheap and so far, along with her closest family and friends, Holly has attempted to go it alone, spending all of her life savings. This is impossible for Holly to continue to do and that’s where we come in.
On Saturday November 4th, a group of her friends and ex-colleagues (Holly was a powerhouse Principal in an apparent “unsaveable” Stoke school that is now successful thanks to Holly’s leadership and commitment) are embarking on a 35 mile walk from Thistley Hough Academy, Penkhull (said school) to Holly’s local community Hayfield. This is going to be a challenging walk but nothing in comparison to the struggles that Holly is facing.
We would really appreciate any sponsorship, big or small, to get us through our walk and more importantly, to help get Holly the treatment she needs.
During the walk we will also be carrying collection buckets so if you bump into us please throw some change at us!
The route for anybody interested in joining us for a few miles or even just giving us a motivational wave and smile is as follows:
