houdini's cancer fund

Hi, my name is leigh. I adopted Houdini from Angel City Pits  in November of 2021 after falling in love with her as a foster in just a few short weeks. Within days of adoption, i noticed she had a strange spot on her leg.
Our first vet incorrectly gauged it as a fungal infection... and then again as allergies; both times prescribing treatments that did nothing rather than taking a biopsy to correctly diagnose the problem.  The spot was worsening and Houdini was showing other signs of discomfort.
After seeking treatment from a new doctor, we found out that Houdini had a mast cell tumor. last week, i took her to the oncologist to undergo a further round of testing which revealed that it had spread into her lymph nodes and mammary glands. as you can imagine, i am heartbroken.

Even though I really only have the option for palliative care, the testing and further vet visits to make sure she stays comfortable for as long as possible are, like human healthcare, ridiculously expensive and not covered by insurance. 

Any kind of donation helps. Trust me, i understand completely if you are not able to donate (hence my making this page in the first place), but perhaps you can pass this along to someone who can.
