Hot Meals For NYU Rehab Working On The Frontlines

Frida Matute (speech-language pathologist), Alyssa Malchi Kane (speech-language pathologist) and Julia Vila (physical therapist), all former therapists at NYU Langone Medical Center are raising funds to serve hot meals to the NYU Rehab Team at Hospital for Joint Diseases and NYU Langone Medical Center who are healthcare workers on the frontlines treating patients with Covid-19. Our friends and former colleagues at NYU are in the speech-language pathology, physical therapy and occupational therapy departments treating Covid-19+ patients by providing communication tools and exercises to improve their functioning and get back home. The healthcare workers on the frontlines take many different forms and this is one of them. Many of our friends have tested positive for Covid-19 and returned to work once healthy to keep going and keep fighting this virus. We ask that you show them your support by donating towards a hot meal that will brighten their day, ease their load and bring them a small form of acknowledgement that their #nytough community is 100% behind them. Every healthcare worker counts and these patients are lucky to have this team behind them.
