Feeding Homeless on Thanksgiving 2022 Los Angeles

The Hot Meals Drive has been ongoing since May 2020. We have created 228,444 (as of Nov 2022) vegetarian and vegan meals and distributed them through our 30+ partner organizations in 27 neighboring cities and 3 counties. On Ahimsa Day, Oct 2nd, 2021 and Thanksgiving day, Nov 25, we prepared 5555 meals and 6815 meals respectively and delivered meals to the homeless population in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernadino, Los Angeles, and Orange County.

This Thanksgiving our feeding costs $2.50 per meal. Your donation will be matched by the Joy of Sharing Foundation so your $2.50 donation feeds 2 people.

Joy of Sharing Foundation was established in 2011 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (TAX ID 37-1697719) to help support the community. The mission of the Joy of Sharing Foundation is to support the local community in Southern California by helping build bridges and providing services to address the local needs.

Joy of Sharing seeks to provide holistic programming and services that address the needs of the local South Asian & greater population. The goal is to be a central hub for the local community and foster a sense of community that will promote social friendships and build bridges.
