Hot December Cafe Relocation Fund

Its with great sadness we announce that Hot December Cafe will be closing its current location as we work on finding a place to re-open. Hot December was only open for 6 months before the pandemic completely shut us down, and we were not able to come to an agreement to re-open with our current landlords without accumulating more debt. So before the financial hole becomes insurmountable we have come to the decision to relocate. 

Our goal is to reopen in the community, although we can not guarantee this will happen, we are coming to our community with hat in hand asking for help as we double down on the Hot December Cafe goal; creating community and a place for us to get together and enjoy fun, art, food and the best cup of coffee in the country. We are a proud black-owned business and will continue this mission. 

Even if we don't meet our goal, we are grateful to all the support and the community of new friends and family we created in the first 6 months of business, and we promise you we will be back. We've come too far to fail, and we want to continue making memories.
