Hostage/Kidnapping Survivors

Donation protected
On March 22, 2019 a home invasion turned into a hostage situation shortly after a man broke into the home where Amber and her daughter were sleeping. The hostage situation turned into the kidnapping of Amber where she was forced into the loaner car she had with Jim Norton and then into a high speed chase where the OHP had to end up doing a pit manuever to stop the chase. The car rolled a couple times and then was surrounded by police to force the suspect out with pepper ball’s and bean bag guns while Amber was still in the vehicle. If you don’t know their story see link below:

The mother and her daughter are alive today, due to this mother’s instincts, smart thinking and calmness. She is an amazing, strong and independent woman to endure the many things she experienced that day. Amber and her daughter have a long road of recovery and therapy. At this moment, the accident that was caused by the suspect, the loaner car is deemed totaled and the insurance will have a deductible she will owe. Along with the hospital bills, copays for the upcoming doctor visits and other missellsneous expenses that will be needed that was caused from this awful traumatic event. She will need the help with these unexpected expenses. I know these girls that were apart of this awful event and we would like to try to help her with these expenses and help start their new normal. She is a single mother with not much family and needs the help to get through this traumatic event.
