Hi, my name is Hash and I am from Australia and I'm fundraising for Omar Hisham's family. Omar is a relative of my friend, Hossam.
Dear friends,
First of all, we want to sincerely thank everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity has been the only reason Omar Hisham’s family has survived through these unbearable months. Every single dollar you gave has provided them with food, medicine, and dignity in the middle of devastation.
At one point, with your help, the family was able to rent a small house. But even that home was partially burned and badly damaged—unsafe and unfit for living. Yet, it was still the best option they had among the ruins.
But hunger has been their harshest enemy. Omar himself once weighed 70 kg; today, he has lost more than 25 kg, his body weakened by famine. His sister, Ashhar, who was already underweight, now weighs only 45 kg and suffers from severe malnutrition and anemia. The entire family is battling hunger every single day, with little strength left in their bodies.
When bombardments intensified, they were forced to flee again. With part of the donations, they managed to buy a simple tent—this tent is now their only shelter, standing on bare sand, offering no real protection from cold nights, scorching days, or the despair of displacement.
Since the martyrdom of their father, the family has been left with no source of income. They fled under gunfire and explosions, and now they live every moment in fear and insecurity. The only lifeline they have is your donations—it is the only way they can buy food to stay alive.
Your continued support is not just charity—it is survival. It is the only hope keeping Omar’s family alive. Please, if you can, donate again and share their story. Together, we can keep them standing through this nightmare.
