PLEASE HELP ME!! This is not a scam. I’ve enclosed several photos to show that it’s true.
I hate to have to ask for your support during these hard times from the Covid pandemic. I realize that people are experiencing rough monetary times. However, I was recently discharged from Memorial Hospital and physical rehabilitation centers after nine months! This has left me with an outrageous amount of share of cost bills and bills for ramps needed for my mom’s house for my new electric wheelchair and the need for a reliable SUV or truck able to hold a lift that can transport me and the new wheelchair.
Hello, my name is Zana Golden, and I am 62 yo. I have experienced a great amount of health issues since 11 yo. I have scoliosis which is a curvature of your spine. My spine is shaped like a S and my Orthopedic Surgeon told me that my spine would collapse by the age of 21 if not straightened with rods and fused. To date, I have had 99 surgeries, mostly on my spine or problems rising because of it. I’ve had many bone infections and twice I turned septic from them and came very close to dying. During the past three Covid years, I got another severe “VRE” bone infection and my own doctors were not able to admit me into the hospital. During Covid, the ER doctors were the only doctors able to admit patients and the ER doctor was not positive that I had a bone infection until one of my old incisions actually opened 3 or more years into the infection!! I became septic with the severe “VRE” infection and almost died. In 9 months, I went through 8 debridement surgeries, 1 “Flapp” surgery and a compartment syndrome surgery on my left leg.
The “VRE” infection ate away everything in my left buttock except 1 tendon and 1 small muscle. The surgeon had to take half of my right buttock and “Flapp” it into the left buttock. That surgery was done on 1/17/2023. Two days before, I went into the bathroom and the floor was wet from a leaky shower wall and when I fell, my left leg became stuck under the opened shower door!! My left lower leg started to swell so fast that doctors worried my leg would die from Compartment Syndrome if they did not perform emergency surgery right away. So on 1/15/2023, I was in a surgery to save my leg. The surgeons had to remove a “tree” of damaged veins on 1/15/2023. I had my Flapp surgery on 1/17/2023! First pic is 4 hours after the fall and is showing Compartment Syndrome on left leg. The second pic is about two months before my first 4 debridements. Then the doctors tried what they called a wound vac for several months and infections got worse! I needed 4 more debridements before the “Flapp” procedure could be done. The third pics show incisions after both surgeries.

I have been informed that the “VRE” infection is still in my spine, sacrum, and both hips. It is a real tough infection to get rid of. After 9 months on the two toughest IV antibiotics, I still have the infection in the center of my bones. Eventually, the infection will work its way out of the bones, and I’ll become septic again leaving me even more share of cost bills from hospital and surgeons! This has been my life since I was 11 yo. However, this horrible type of infection is scaring me to death. It has been so costly so far and apparently I will not be able to get rid of it. How costly will it become in the future? My body can only take becoming septic for so long.
This is why your HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED!! Please share my story with your work corporation, friends and family.
YOUR GENEROSITY IS TREMENDOUSLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. GOD BLESS YOU.
