Hospitalization subsidy for Omar David's Father

Hi everyone,

This fundraiser is to help me finance my dad’s hospitalization. His name is Jose Omar Narvaez Diaz, he is turning 77 on April 14th. He suffers from congestive heart failure, a condition in which his heart doesn't pump well enough and causes a series of issues.

I had to rush him to the emergency room on February 19th. His legs, abdomen, and face were swelling and his leg began leaking fluids, which caused an edema in his leg, an open wound that got infected.

He fought for his life in the ICU during the first two weeks: his liver, kidneys, and lungs were failing because of the pre-existing heart failure, but his condition has thankfully been stabilized.

Currently, he requires round-the-clock assistance, necessitating the hiring of nurses to oversee his care overnight, while I assist him during the day. We're doing everything we can to support him, but the cost of his treatment is increasing by the day and the funds we are able to pull together as a family have run out.

Although my dad is doing much better, doctors anticipate he will need to remain at the hospital for a couple of months. This situation puts a strain on my daily activities and also limits my ability to work and make money.

This is why I'm asking for help: to be able to cover costs incurred in taking care of my dad during his hospitalization.

With your help, we can lessen the stress of medical bills and get him closer to the day when we can fully recover and be allowed to go home.
