Hello, my name is Marco, and I am the father of my son, Louie Marcus.

With a heavy heart, I am asking for your prayers and kind support as our family faces one of the hardest moments of our lives.

On January 14, Louie was rushed to the ER with a very high fever and was diagnosed with influenza.

On January 17, we were back in the ER at 2 a.m., where he was diagnosed with pneumonia on top of the flu.

On January 20, his condition worsened—he struggled to breathe, had nonstop coughing, became very weak, and his fingers, arms, and legs began turning purple.

On January 23, after more tests, we received devastating news: his hemoglobin suddenly dropped to a dangerously low level. He required an emergency blood transfusion and was transferred by ambulance.

On January 24, Louie was admitted to the ICU.

On January 25, he underwent lung surgery.

Our little boy is fighting so hard, and we are holding onto faith and hope for his recovery.

As parents, it is heartbreaking to see your child suffer, and at the same time we are facing overwhelming medical and hospitalization expenses. We are humbly asking for any help—no matter how small—to assist with Louie’s medical care, medications, and ongoing treatment.
