I got diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia on 07/25/2020.  My dad has been my #1 supporter since day 1 of this battle.  He already lost his only other child (my sister, the beautiful girl in the photo with him) to cancer in 2009. He can't afford the ongoing cost of owning a car. He's been on disability for back problems since I was a little kid and it's always been difficult making ends meet. I'm not asking for help purchasing a car for him. I'm asking for $1-$10 donations from anybody who is able. My dad has been using every penny he has to get rental cars to drive from Santa Cruz to  San Francisco to visit me as frequently as possible. He spends all year saving up small amounts at a time for a short vacation on his birthday and he has already used that money on cars and gas to be with me here at the hospital. Please donate what you can. I'm not sure if this is going to work but it's worth a try.
