Our little dude Clem had to post up at the hospital for the night because his bladder was full and there was no way for it to come out. The good news: During his overnight he was able to be drained and catheterized. Right now he's eating and happy. The bad news: it is very likely that whatever is causing the blockage will recur without 1) additional time in the hospital to monitor him without the catheter and 2) potentially a surgical procedure to correct the cause of the blockage. Either of these would be way beyond budget for Ronnie and me. We've already spent what would've been our rent on the immediate emergency care. If we can raise some additional funds, we should be able to convince the hospital to keep him for another night to ensure that we won't be right back where we started.
