Hospital stay and travel for Brandon Thompson

Update 3/17/23: As a family, we’re still processing and navigating this journey and we ask for patience and understanding. To clarify, he was not burned in the accident, however his bike was, and is almost unrecognizable as a motorcycle. The injuries he sustained are almost exclusively head/facial injuries, and it’s a miracle that nothing else was broken or injured. At this time, he’s in critical condition and has not awoken from a coma. Again, we absolutely appreciate and love everyone’s support, but we do ask for space at this time

Hello my name is Dawn Shaw Thompson, as many of you may already know my twin brother, Brandon Shaw Thompson, was in a major motorcycle accident on 3/11/23. He is currently staying in the ICU in Modesto for head trauma. Modesto is an hour and a half away from home (Sonora, Ca) and not being able to afford to continue to stay close by is a concern. We would like someone to be at his bedside as often as possible for support. This is going to be a very long journey for family and friends. We are asking for help with funding for travel expenses.
