Hospital Funds for Mark and Diane Mutch
Donation protected
A few months ago, my grandma Diane fell ill and eventually had to be admitted to hospital a few weeks ago. She spent over a week in Rosetown, and has now been in RUH in Saskatoon for about 2 weeks. My parents repeatedly took time and money to commute to Rosetown, but once Diane was admitted to RUH, Mark decided to use his vacation days to stay with her at the hospital 24/7 while my mom and I stay home to work and tend to our house/pets. We have been commuting to Saskatoon to see Mark and Diane and help them financially all we can, and Mark has been caring for Diane every day while she gets tests and treatments done.
Unfortunately, Mark has used up all his holiday pay for this situation so that he can be with Diane, as well as for clothes, food, parking, TV for Diane, and everything else. While my mom and I are doing our best to help financially, we have to also tend to our bills, food, and other supplies here, so we are running low on funds to help Mark. He is now going without pay, but is still doing his best to pay for all his and his mother’s needs at the hospital.
Overall, my family’s funds are getting low, and we are not sure how long Diane will be in the hospital for. While doctors are optimistic about her recovery once a diagnosis is made, we do not know how long these things will take and how much more money it will cost for her needs and for Mark to be there to support her. Depending on the diagnosis, Mark could be away for another week, 2 weeks, or more for all we know, although we are hoping that him and Diane will be able to both come home soon. We miss them very much and want to help them as much as we can from home, but we must now ask others for help as we are running out of options.
If anybody is able to donate to support our family so that we can continue to be with Diane while she recovers, or share this page with others, we would appreciate it dearly. Every dollar or share helps, because we want Mark and my grandma to have everything they need while she recovers.
I want to thank all family and friends for their support during this stressful time. We are optimistic about Diane’s recovery, and can’t wait for her and Mark to return home. Please help if you can, and thank you so much to everyone who spreads the word/donates. ❤️
