Madison Talarico is a student at Kalamazoo College and an employee of D.P. Dough. Thursday, April 8th, Madi was involved in an automobile collision while delivering food for work. As a result of the crash she fractured her C6 vertebrae and sustained multiple other contusions. As a result of her injuries she will be out of work for at least three months, her coworkers are chipping in tips and making sure that she’s fed but we need help in making sure that she is able to make her rent and pay any bills and fees that come up as a result of her accident.
Madi is a hard worker and already struggling with the fact that she’ll be unable to work (she insists that she’ll be back at work in two weeks). She is studying to become a lawyer, a straight A student and is on the Dean's List. She wants to represent people who are disadvantaged. She loves cats, sour candy and she donates blood whenever possible. She is known to donate left over food from the restaurant to the homeless.
Madi's rent each month is $500 and an estimate of her other bills comes to approximately $250 a month and she is also looking into retaining a lawyer to see if she has any legal recourse from the accident.
