Funeral Expenses for Gary Robertson

$3,875 raised of $20K

Kassie (Gaylene's daughter, adopted) Karyn (niece) have created this Go Fund Me page for Gary and Gaylene all these proceeds will assure you that they will be given to Gaylene.
After 23 days in the hospital Gary fought an infection and multiple surgeries, it was a tough decision to make but we made a decision as a family to let his fight end the way he wanted it. He pasted peacefully at 3:30pm surrounded by loved ones, so the money going forward will help with funeral costs and expenses. If you don't want to donate via the Go Fund Me page your more than welcome to reach out to Gaylene and send her money via Venmo which is @GayleneBauerRobertson.
Gary went into the hospital on January 1st and things have been extremely difficult. Prior to his hospital stay his wife Gaylene lost her job, as well as insurance benefits. When Gary went into the hospital, they told her it would be no longer than 2 or 3 days, and now they are into the third week. He has since been on major antibiotics, had two procedures and two major surgeries and is currently on a ventilator. He will be on a Wound VAC and is looking at another surgery because of his diabetes. He was diagnosed with Cellulitis and Sepsis and C-Diff, also they found two bleeding ulcers. They are trying to lighten their load a little for Gaylene as she is by his side supporting him and watching over his care. After he leaves the hospital, it is expected he will be admitted to a short-term rehab center and will not be home for some time. She has been the sole bread winner in their home since he was in a work accident in July of 2019. Losing her job has really put a burden on her, something that no one should have to bear at a time such as this. This will help her pay bills and medical expenses as she tried to get him well. For anyone that knows Gary personally he is quite the jokester and chatty Cathy and to see him in a such state is saddening.
Each day it seems they are getting more serious news about his situation. All we want for them is to not have such a heavy load, to be well, and this can only help that process.
We want to extend a huge THANK YOU for those that have donated and the prayers coming in each day. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
