Hospital emergency, please help!

My name is Rosemary, I am 52 years old, and have lived in Goulburn for the last 17 years. I am.on a disability support pension, I have some serious health challenges, which have landed me in a couple of lengthy hospital admissions recently. I was in Canberra Hospital for exactly one month over November - December last year, and have been an inpatient, again at Canberra Hospital, for almost three months now (since February 6)

During these admissions, I have had so many surgeries and procedures that I have literally lost count (I have been put under a general anaesthetic *at least* twenty times) All of these surgeries have been on both legs and both feet. In the last six months I have had three femoral bypasses (one on the left, two on the right), multiple toe amputations on my left foot, whixh ultimately resulted in an entire forefoot amputation, as well as two toe amputations on my right foot. Unfortunately, one of my earliest surgeries resulted in a small-ish incision becoming very badly infected (and trust me when I say, that's HUGELY understating the matter), and what was a fairly routine surgery and incision, turned into anything but And this is how I find myself where I am today... humbly asking for your help ❤️

Unfortunately, I haven't a clue when I'll be getting discharged from here, and I have discovered that being in hospital for a long period of time is actually really expensive! I have literally lost count of how much it has cost me (in dollars and sanity, hahaha) to be here, but I now find myself basically broke, and this is how I find myself asking you, the caring, kind, generous people in my community, as well as my friends and family, for your help.

I understand we are ALL struggling right now. Everything costs and everything seems to just get harder, and unfortunately that doesn't stop with hospital-related expenses. I am lucky enough to have the help of a friend in Goulburn, who is feeding my cats, visiting me every chance possible, bringing me clean clothing, washing the clothes they take home for me, bringing essential supplies, etc.. but this all costs money, and we are both about to run out.

I will be so, so grateful for literally ANYTHING anybody is able to contribute ❤️ And if I am ever in the position to return the favour, I will very happily do so

And now, as I am not too proud to ask for help, I have another humble request. As I have been in hospital for sooooo long, I honestly feel like poo that's been run over twice! I feel as though everything has suffered, along with my aforementioned mutilated body parts And honestly, that's how I feel; mutilated. Even though I can hide it, for the most part, I feel old and gross and I desperately need a boost for my mental health, which I truly believe will initially come via making myself feel better appearance-wise. Unfortunately (and I presume, obviously) I am far, far too broke to afford professional services at the moment, so I am seeking products. For hygiene purposes, I am after anything new or minimally used that you may be able to spare. Skin care, cosmetics, anything in that realm that might make me feel as though I'm having a luxe, soothing experience. I know this is a bit cheeky and probably presumptuous to request, but again, I am a desperate woman whose appearance has been severely neglected.. I honestly can't properly express or adequately describe how very badly I need the boost that I believe these things will supply.
