Dear friends and family, my beautiful Maisie is in an animal hospital. Yesterday when I came home from work she was lying on her bed not able to get up on her own. This is very unusual, as she always greets me at the door. I tried to get her to eat or drink, but she would not. I stayed by her side all night long with no change. So early this morning I took her to our vet place, but they did not have the resources to treat her. They referred us to a 24 hour animal hospital in Leander. They came highly recommended. They did lots of tests, including ultrasound. The veterinarian thinks it acute pancreatitis and she is severely dehydrated. They are keeping her for a few days to pump her full of fluids and try to get her to eat. I’ve exhausted all my financial resources to pay for her care. This isn’t easy to ask, but if you can give anything towards the vet bill, I would be forever grateful. Even if you can’t, prayers and good thoughts towards my girl go along way as well. I love my Maisie girl so much. She’s been with me thru so much. I want to do all I can for her. Thank you for considering, it means the world to us.
