Petey, my beloved Yorkiepoo, ended up in the hospital after he stopped eating and drinking. He’s been sick for a couple of weeks now and hasn’t been himself. I took him to the emergency room yesterday. He isn’t eating on his own yet and the bills are adding up. They are still looking for answers as to why he’s sick, but he was just diagnosed with an overactive parathyroid and needs surgery. He also has something with his liver.

The vet bill right now is $6,000 without factoring in surgery and additional overnight stays. I am at my limit as to what I can afford, so I really need help with some of the costs, so I can get him the help he needs.

I’m currently in school and have had to reduce my work hours due to chronic illnesses. Petey is my entire world. He helps me with my depression and illnesses.
