Hospital bills, cremation, and repartration purposes
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
My name is Jenalyn Bosi Calimag Reid. In this difficult time, my family and I felt devastated as I loss my father, and I am not prepared for the high cost that my father left behind, yet I am not working for the moment. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of my dad’s expenses (hospital, cremation, repatriation).
You may have heard that my father is currently visiting us here in Canada as a tourist. He entered Canada on May 26, 2024, and he supposed to go back home in the Philippines on October 12, 2024. However, on September 23, 2024, around 2:30 pm, I found him crying on his bedroom. So, I asked him if what’s the matter why he is crying and his eyes are not opening, he then responded to me says; its nothing. On September 26, 2024, it got worst, so I called an EMS. He was admitted for two days at Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Alberta Canada, the fact that he became so weak. Two days later he was discharged however, he was re-admitted again on Monday night.
Unfortunately, he passed away on Tuesday between 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm. His ticket was rebooked on October 2, 2024, but he did not make it anymore on his flight.
My dad went into different examinations including CT scan on his head. So, the result of the impression; there was a large intraventricular hemorrhage centered in the left lateral ventricle with additional intraparenchymal hemorrhages/lesions in the left parietal/occipital lobe, left frontal/parietal centrum semiovale, right parietal operculum, and possible left anterior frontal lobe cortex.
My dad appeared to be healthy, and I was not aware of his illness. All at once he started to lose his weight, vision, and he became so weak as well. The effect of this illness is devastating to the whole family members.
I love my dad because he has a fierce spirit and inspires so many people around him and others in his community to be their best. He often helps people in his community and sacrificing precious time he could be spending with his own family.
Our goal is to raise funds for him; to pay his hospital bills, cremation, and to repatriate him back to Philippines.
Please take a minute to make donation as you can. Thank you very much in advance and your help is very much appreciated. I am so grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
