Hospital Bill Payment for Miscarriage

Hi, my name is Tania Tangri and I am fundraising to pay my hospital bill due to my miscarriage. I am currently residing here in Canada on a visitor visa. I am still waiting for my health card and work permit as I have already submitted my file for processing, but I have not received any updates yet.

I want to share that I am not currently working. I am in a very challenging financial situation, struggling even to manage our basic household expenses, including groceries on a hand-to-mouth basis.

Amid this uncertainty, me and my husband were overjoyed to discover that we were expecting a baby. However, on December 21, 2024, I faced a devastating medical emergency and suffered a miscarriage at the end of the sixth month of my pregnancy. This was one of the most painful and traumatic experiences of my life. It breaks my heart to think of the child I lost, and the physical toll it took on me was immense.

It was a miracle that I myself survived the complications of this medical emergency. It was touch and go, and I am incredibly grateful to be alive today. Even now, I am undergoing medication and treatment to address the ongoing health issues caused by this tragedy. These additional medical expenses have only increased the financial burden on us.

I received my hospital bill of nearly $15000 which I need to pay in 30 days. I am to receive one more bill yet from doctors side and I am not sure how much is that going to be so we are still waiting on that one.

Unfortunately, given our circumstances, we are in no position to pay such a huge amount. The bill itself has caused a big mental tension for both me and my husband. This is our time to recover physically and emotionally and we cannot deal with any situations that lead to trauma.

I humbly request you to help us out in this situation. Your support would mean everything to me during this utterly difficult time. It would give me the strength to recover from this loss.
