Help us pay the Hospital bill and Insurance Cover

Hello hello, my name is Rafael and we are the Cardoso’s family. 

Amanda( my wife) and I got married a couple of years ago, and we are both Brazilian. I am from the south part of Brazil Porto Alegre and she is form the centre west part Campo Grande, but God made his way of get us together. We met in 2021 because of a common friend. I lived in Campo  for more than a year with my uncle and aunt they were pastor in a church there. They helped me start my walk with Jesus. After I went back to a small town close to Porto Alegre to help my other aunt with the teen challenge program that they run. Amanda and I started talking first on Instagram for about 3 months. Our topic was always Jesus.She helped me understand and know Jesus in a way that I couldn’t imagine. She introduced me to Romans and the beauty of what Jesus did for us in the cross. That got us close and close and we started in a point praying together to know God’s will but after praying we understood that wasn’t the time for us and we were so far apart with no chance of getting close soon. So we stopped talk for good.

After 7 months God called me to go back to her city, so for the first time we’ve met face to face. We start praying again e God put us together and arrange everything for us. after 3 months we were married. 

We always wanted to be parents and since the beginning we’ve talked a lot about it, unfortunately because of Amanda’s condition that dream would be really hard to achieve. We had a lot of times that we thought that she might be pregnant but end out just false alarms, every time was so frustrating for us was a mix of really sadness with trusting that our Father knows the best.

 After a lot of praying we heard God’s voice and decide to obey. We moved from Brazil to Australia. I’ve been in Australia in 2018 and I knew how important would be to Amanda to have the same experience and know the English language. Our plan was her focusing in learning the language in the first year and after focusing in her career while I would stay by her side working. 

After a few months we did a pregnancy test and we couldn’t believe, she was pregnant. It’s was truly a miracle even the nurses while we were in the Ultrasound was saying about how hard that would be. Our daughter Eden was coming. 

She was delivered on 23/03/24 at 10:12. Surprisingly 3,530kg and 50 cm at the 39+6 weeks. The best thing that ever happened with us. The promise from our Father was delivered. There is no way or words enough to describe the happiness and knowledge of God’s presence in our life because of Eden. We are so great full.

Right now I’m studying Cert III in engineering 4 days per week and Amanda is home taking care of our baby. It’s been a challenge for us to keep up with everything and to be far away from our family I this so joyful moment of our life. Thankfully God gave us His son to help take care of us here in Australia. Steale our landlord that since we told him have been helping us so much. He is truly Eden grandfather, or as we say her pappus( he is Greek).

Unfortunately the insurance didn’t cover any of our expenses about the pregnancy because of the 12 month waiting time policy. We were caught of guard with everything and the bills are too big for us in this moment. We need your help. 

To cover the hospital bill of $3.374,00 and to add Eden in our OSHC Bupa insurance $8.356,00.
