To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, my brother, Shane Lewis, has spent the last week under the care of the amazing team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, but tragically will not recover from his condition.


Shane was a fantastic brother, uncle, and an even better friend. He was always ready to help anyone in need - and even in this dark moment, he will continue to help others due to the fact that he was a registered organ donor. Shane goes into surgery in the early hours of the morning in order to provide hope for others.


Since this was so unexpected, family and friends are all still in shock and struggling to cope at the moment. We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left.
