Hospice Care for David Zeno Thanes

David Zeno was diagnosed with an inoperable intraspinal tumor in 2011. Radiation treatment at OHSU delayed the tumor's impact to the lower half of his body. In 2022, after frequent falls, it was understood the tumor was now continuing its growth again. David Zeno began using a wheelchair at that time, but a variety of other symptoms have complicated his health. This last week he was hospitalized and placed in hospice, where his increasing needs can be met.
