Meet our son, Hoshi Clausa. He was born on September 9th with a cleft palate and will require multiple surgeries and medical equipment to achieve normal lips, palate, and teeth. As I am the sole provider earning minimum wage in Jakarta, I am uncertain how to fund these crucial medical needs. Therefore, I would be deeply grateful for any assistance to help my son Hoshi undergo these necessary surgeries. I promise to keep everyone updated as my son receives his treatments. Our immediate goal is to raise approximately 5 million IDR, or about 300 USD, to provide Hoshi with a Nasoalveolar Molding (NAM) before Oct 9 ,2025.

Nasoalveolar Molding (NAM) is a pre-surgical therapy designed for infants with cleft lip and palate. It involves a custom-made orthopedic appliance that helps to:

Bring together the two sides of a cleft lip or palate and narrow a wide cleft.

Shape the nose and facial structures to provide a more symmetrical appearance.

Reduce the size of the cleft or palate deformity before surgical repair.

Improve the overall facial development of the baby, allowing for a more normal shape of the mouth and lips.

Begin as early as the baby’s first week of life , with a pediatric dentist making a mold of the newborn’s mouth.

NAM is an important step in preparing for cleft lip and palate surgery, enhancing surgical outcomes.
