I am creating this fund for a Hosea, whom I have known for a few years. Her life has had many challenges and her current one is overwhelming.  She doesn't know how to use a computer so I have typed up her hand written request.

My whole life, I've believed I was made to help other's and I've done that with an open heart.
2 years ago,  I left my marriage of 25 years.  I have no family, they have all passed. I have no children so shelters will not take me or my dog.
I have been homeless since my marriage ended, sleeping in and out of my car. When I can, I get a motel room.
The stress of being homeless has had an huge impact on my health.
I need open heart surgery which is supposed to be in Dec. , so now, more than ever, I need housing for me and my dog.
A 1 bedroom apt. in Oakland is $1700 plus a deposit of $2000. I also have to have a deposits for utilities. If you can help me get into this apartment, I would be so relieved and so grateful. PLEASE PLEASE HELP."
