Horse Farm Worker for Camelia's Recovery
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
As you know Camelia suffered a riding accident a year ago in Jan 2020 where her right leg was badly broken. In spring and summer she was able to continue work as a riding instructor and trainer out of her equestrian facility in Rhinebeck NY. But constant pain in her leg prevented her from operating at full capacity. By September, it was clear that her leg was not healing properly and something had to be done. Thanks to her health advocates, a second surgery was arranged. We are confident that this second surgery which happened in late December 2020 will allow the bone to finally heal and give her pain free mobility.
Camelia has been running a horse riding and training facility for five years. She has rescued many ponies and horses and trained them as mounts for her students. Camelia has also impacted children and adults coping with physical and emotional issues through her riding program emphasizing the horse for healing and development. We are so proud of her accomplishments.
Now she needs our help. Currently, she has fourteen horses under her care. She will have loss of income during the recovery time for this second surgery. Most importantly, she needs to pay a worker to help care for the horses and barn during her recovery until she is strong enough to get her business to a normal operational level.
We are humbly asking friends and family to pitch in what you can to give her a boost through this obstacle. The budget is $2500 per month for a farm worker for 2 months. We very much appreciate your assistance and good wishes.
