Hello fans of the horror genre or just independent filmmaking! As you know, in the last five years, the entertainment industry has been ROUGH, to say the least. It’s so hard to get something sold or set up, which is why I decided to make something myself.
HORRIFIED, which we wrapped in August, is a meta horror comedy starring Julie Benz, Jason Behr, Busy Philipps, Doug Jones, Jim Rash and Ron Perlman. Julie plays Jamie Jaymes, a down-on-her-luck former scream queen who attends a horror convention in a small town where a serial killer disguised as the villain from her franchise starts to pick off her friends one by one.
This film isn’t just a fun horror romp; it’s about a woman struggling with addiction and overcoming her inner demons by battling evil in real life.
