Horrible fire please help. Devastated

Hi my name is a Bryn Ward. I have resided in heritage houses in New West for 25 years. I have lived in my beloved home for 8 years & wanted it to be my forever home. I had a new roommate move in last month. I provided battery operated candles. Well she had a real candle & fell asleep & her cat knocked it over & her room went up in flames so quickly. Her cat perished & my roommate sustained 2nd degree burns. I have been an active member in my beloved community as a realtor, past president 2018 Hyack Featival Association.l, ran for city council in 2018. I owned & taught at my acting school here & im a local Remax realtor. I had been off of real estate work for 5 yrs due to a concussion. So I was just back to it last year & I don’t have savings or insurance. I am struggling very much with trauma so I won’t be able to get back to work right away. Because I lived in the property for so long my rent is way below currency market value I will not be able to afford higher rents right away. I am begging you to please help me if at all possible. I don’t know how I will handle not being able to return to the home and/or neighbourhood that brings me so much joy. I really don’t. I am grateful my roommate, my cat & myself survived. Rip kitty Zoey. I am forever in gratitude of your help. It’s very hard to ask. My goal is to be able to afford the 1 bedroom unit in the building 5 doors down if I have to be out the 6-10 months & if I’m even able to return. Ty Bryn Ward
