Hello, my name is Ashley Emberton and I am Sarah’s best friend. Sarah and I both met in 2009 at Brooks Baptist Church. If any of you know Sarah, you know that she’ll just go right up to you and start talking. She has never met a stranger.
I wanted to start this GoFundMe page to help her, Daniel (her husband), and their little boy Jensen. Back in March, Daniel had undergone emergency colon removal surgery. He had a perforation in his colon. Little did they know then, but it was cancer. Daniel was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. And over the weekend, Daniel was rushed to the hospital and found out he suffered multiple cerebral strokes that was cause by one of the IV fluid drugs while on chemotherapy.
This money raised will help with all the upcoming medical expenses. Insurance is covering a good portion of the expenses but they have been left with the remainder of the two hospital stays and the chemotherapy treatments. I want to help take this burden off them and focus on the recovery of Daniel. These three are very important people to me.
